The Midlothian Tojans defeated the Lee-Davis Confederates 2-1 in Tuesday night’s Central Region quarterfinal game.
Lee-Davis scored first in the top of the fourth inning, to put the Confederates up 1-0.
The Trojans answered right back in the bottom of the fourth, to tie the game at one.
Midlothian took the lead when the Trojans loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh after the rain delay.
Jessica Poe, who went 1 for 2 in the game, scored the winning run when Suzanne Spencer (1 for 2) drew a walk with the bases-loaded to give Midlothian the 2-1 win over Lee-Davis.
Midlothian’s pitcher Krista Townsend struck out nine in the game.
Jana Martin went 2 for 3 for Lee-Davis, scoring a run.
