INTERNSHIPS – DIGITALSPORTS DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE
DigitalSports can offer you the opportunity to learn skills vital to certain careers:
- Photography – You can represent DigitalSports at games and events, taking photos that have an opportunity to be published on our website – locally, regionally or nationally. We can also offer your school’s Photography Club their own account to upload and sell their photos, generating revenues for your Photography Club. Furthermore, the DigitalSports content managements system can be made available to your Club and School, allowing for efficient storing, retrieval and publishing of your photos on the DigitalSports School web site, as well as on your School’s website and newsletters.
- Videography – You can learn how to video games and events; video interviews and behind the scenes memories. Your videos can be uploaded onto the DigitalSports site and, subject to review by your teacher and our professional staff, may be published on our community, regional or national site. Furthermore, the DigitalSports content managements system can be made available to your Club and School, allowing for efficient storing, retrieval and publishing of your videos on the DigitalSports School web site, as well as on your School’s website and newsletters.
- Journalism – Learn writing skills by submitting to DigitalSports your articles, features, inspirational stories and narrative text for captions under photos. Help allow your school’s graduating student-athletes to earn valuable scholarship money that can assist their continuation of educational and athletic endeavors at the collegiate level. The DigitalSports “Applause” Scholarship is awarded annually to local senior-level students that excel in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the community while overcoming extraordinary circumstances or adversity in their lives.

Your school can help develop tomorrow’s media specialists. The DigitalSports Media Award is presented to one High School in each athletic conference based on the timeliness, originality and accuracy of reporting and content contribution on their school’s DigitalSports web site. Selection of the winning school is determined by DigitalSports.
